Turning Pain into Purpose. Pairing HOPE with Help

My Mission

Through The HOPE Project, my mission is simple but urgent: to educate, advocate, and empower in the fight against the heroin, opioid, and pill epidemic. We believe that through honest conversations, community connection, and shared stories, we can break the stigma surrounding addiction—and offer real hope to those still fighting and those left behind.

“HOPE isn’t just a word—it’s a fight, a purpose, and a promise that no story is too far gone.”

— Grayson Johnson, Founder of The HOPE Project

My WHY

The opioid crisis isn’t just a national statistic—it’s a personal reality. It stole my sister, Kinsley, after more than 15 years of struggle. Her story—and thousands like it—remind us that addiction is a disease, not a decision.

Behind every overdose is a family. Behind every statistic is a face. That’s why The HOPE Project exists: to break the stigma, educate communities, and build bridges between heartbreak and healing.

Through school programs, community outreach, policy advocacy, and storytelling platforms like my podcast Voices of HOPE, I’m working to make sure no one fights this battle in silence.
